The Racer X intercooler uses a high density Garrett intercooler core to provide optimal cooling during spirited driving or track use. The end tanks are CNC laser cut from 5052 aluminum sheet, then formed on a CNC press brake to ensure consistent and repeatable bends. The inlet and outlet on the end tank are CNC turned from 6061-T6 aluminum, feature a coupler retention lip, and a generous radius to transition airflow into and out of the intercooler tanks. The completed components are then precision TIG welded for a complete intercooler assembly that is ready to perform.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring intercooler testing we saw gains of 10-15 wheel horsepower and 10-15 lb-ft of torque through most of the RPM range.
