Entering A New Generation of Sports Wheels
Designed with a racing-based name for the first time in seven years, the new NE24 is a wheel that breaks conventional norms and signals the start of a new era. The name of this new series combines "N," derived from the VOLK RACING Gr.N—the origin of the developed wheel, or Group N, the racing class for stock cars with minimal modifications—and "E," the common initial for existing series such as TE, CE, and ZE, signifying "evolution."
2021 is poised to be a year of significant impact. A plethora of exciting new cars is set to be released by Japanese manufacturers, alongside a wave of upcoming European C-segment sports models. These elite vehicles, developed to compete on a global stage, demand wheels that match their innovative design.
In our pursuit of something new for the NE24's 2x4 spoke configuration, we aimed for unconventional geometry while ensuring ample mass at the center and a reduced number of spokes. Through meticulous trial and error by RAYS R&D Analytical Team, and leveraging the latest forging technology, we achieved a delicate yet sturdy design. The undercut spoke design adds depth, ensuring a three-dimensional appearance even in narrow sizes.
Creating something new requires overcoming challenges, and we're committed to pushing boundaries in both style and performance for street wheels. Leveraging our skills and experience acquired through the design and development of racing wheels, we'll continue to produce high-quality wheels for both racing and street applications from the same team and factory.
