The TE37, released in 1996, has undergone numerous updates to keep up with the times. Based on the core values of 'sports driving, hard customization, and tuning in commercial cars,' a new design and a full model change, incorporating a new mold, were introduced in 2016, resulting in the TE37 SAGA. Naturally, the TE37 has easily met JWL and VIA standards, obtaining the in-house standard JWL + R Spec 2. The latest TE37 SAGA has significantly surpassed these strength standards.
After approximately 5 years, despite the unchanging fate of the TE37, the total weight of the world-standard C-segment vehicle has increased. Maximum output has dramatically improved, weight distribution has shifted due to 4WD, and traction has increased. The remarkable evolution of high-grip tires is something we cannot overlook. To establish a safety margin, VOLK RACING will release a minor change model, SAGA S-Plus, from January 2021. This involves a comprehensive review of each part and a careful examination of details. However, the design remains unchanged, with minor modifications such as lightening on the back side. The mass may vary depending on the size, increasing by about 100-120g. This minor change aims to achieve higher safety, security, rigidity, and strength.
