While effective when new, the plastic bushing is a wear item that can develop excessive play over time. As the bushing wears, the clutch pedal may begin to squeak, feel less precise, and allow increased wear of the clutch pedal arm. The Racer X Clutch Pedal Clevis is engineered as a long-term solution. CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, it replaces the factory plastic assembly with a precision-machined clevis that utilizes dual sealed ball bearings and an oil-impregnated bronze bushing. This combination provides smooth pedal operation while creating a durable bearing surface for the factory steel clevis pin.
