The GTX01 is engineered for exceptional lightness and rigidity, utilizing SSR’s FFT-R technology. Its ultralight design removes unnecessary material while maintaining strength, with dimples at the spoke base—a feature inspired by racing wheels. Each aspect of the wheel, including the size and depth of the dimples, has been optimized for weight control without compromising rigidity.
The disc design is directly inspired by the GT500 racing wheel, featuring 10 structurally balanced spokes. The spokes vary in thickness along their V-shape to enhance both stiffness and lightness. The "rim over" design extends the spokes to the rim flanges, concentrating support where stress is greatest to maximize rigidity. The cast logo on the rim is precisely cut and clear-painted, showcasing a finish that speaks to the wheel's advanced engineering and style.
